Google launches Google+ Social Networking service
It is no surprise that Google has launched its own Social Networking service, Google+. I must admit, from watching the many videos Google, has available to help explain how Google+ works and all its features, this has great potential.
However, Google is notorious for having some of its potentially great services fall by the wayside due to lack of maintained interest (or hype) because a lot of its products are by “invitation only” thus keeping the masses out of the loop (think Google Buzz). You’re asking “Google what?”. My point exactly.
Google+ is no exception to the invite only rule although I will predict people will be interested in this for a lot longer. Facebook now has serious competition. In my opinion, this looks to be better than Facebook. Still waiting for my invite Google…
