Enable blocked secret Facebook iPad app [update: video]
So it seems the cat and mouse game on the iOS isn’t limited to Apple and the jailbreak dev team. Facebook and jailbreakers who enabled the secret iPad functionality in the Facebook app seem to be playing their own game. Soon after the discovery of the hack, Facebook blocked logging in via the hacked app. But now an app has been released that allows users to log in again.
The app goes by the name FaceForward and can be found in the Cydia app store through a simple search.
Re-enable Facebook’s iPad app. Facebook recently accidentally released their iPad app, but after TechCrunch posted about it, they quickly moved to disable access to Facebook from it. FaceForward removes that restriction, allowing you to use Facebook for iPad right now.
To use FaceForward, download the official Facebook for iPhone application from the App Store and install FaceForward. You will now be able to access Facebook for iPad.
You might need to delete and re-install your Facebook app if it crashes on startup.
Make sure you have the regular Facebook app installed before installing FaceForward.
So now Zuckerberg, your move.
update: Forgot to mention that you will need the Bigboss depository on Cydia to get FaceForward. And we even now have a video for those who like to learn how-to by seeing. Check it out after the break.
