Mango to start rolling out in the next 2 weeks [WP7]
update: Mango being delivered to all compatible phones
There is now official word on the roll-out date for Windows Phone 7.5 (codenamed Mango);
For months, we and dozens of our partner companies have been laying the groundwork for the Windows Phone 7.5 update—and making solid progress. As a result, we now expect to start rolling it out in the next week or two. At that time, we’ll also refresh the Where’s My Phone Update? table to reflect the worldwide rollout status.
In order to receive the update you will need the Zune update (4.8) and for those on Mac, the updated Windows Phone Connector for Mac. The Mango update will also include firmware updates from the various handset manufacturers to make the devices run well with Mango. Microsoft also warns against using unofficial means to procuring the Mango update.
