Mango being delivered to all compatible phones. Omnia 7 in testing for Telefonica, scheduled for Deutsche Telekom
Official word from the Windows Phone Blog. Version 7.5 (Mango) of the Windows Phone Operating System is being rolled out to “100 percent of eligible phones around the world, regardless of carrier.”
The same post points to the ‘Where’s my phone update?‘ page which shows a few exceptions. The Samsung Omnia 7 for the Spanish Telefonica network is in the Testing stage which by Microsoft’s own definition means “the software update is undergoing mobile operator network and quality tests. These tests can vary by mobile operator, software update, and device. Updates can include Windows Phone or device-specific improvements.”
While the Omnia 7 for Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) for Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Macedonia, Netherlands and the UK is in the scheduling stage which means “Microsoft is scheduling the update for delivery. This phase typically lasts 10 business days or less.”
In the US on the AT&T network, “delivery has begun for the HTC HD7S, HTC Surround, LG Quantum, and Samsung Focus v. 1.3. The Samsung Focus v. 1.4 is Testing and the Dell Venue Pro is in Planning.”
