Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, ported to HTC HD2 (video)
The HTC HD2 was originally released running Windows Mobile 6.5. Since then, the hard working guys at XDA-Developers have ported Android, Windows Phone 7, Meego and even Ubuntu.
So it should come across as no surprise that Android’s latest update, Ice Cream Sandwich, has already been ported to the mighty HD2. The ROM running on the HD2 is the AOSP’s release of Ice Cream Sandwich.
If you’re a regular flasher of the HD2, you will know initial builds are buggy and lack full functionality. I wouldn’t suggest to use the current build as your primary OS for some time. Below is a list of what is and isn’t working at the time of me posting this. There is also a video of the HD2 running ICS further down below.
