How to get better search results on Google [Infographic]

There is almost nothing that can’t be found on the internet. But to find those things you do not only need to know where to find them, but how. Google provides us with a powerful search engine but the hard work must be done on our part.

“In a recent study on student research skills, 3 out of 4 students couldn’t perform a ‘well executed search’ on Google. When your term paper hangs in the balance, using Google effectively is crucial, but most students surprisingly just don’t know how“.

To arm users with the know how to perform well executed searches, HackCollege have provided us with a nice infographic. Not an exhaustive list, but the infographic below is sure to help you better refine your search queries.

Note: For the keyboard shortcuts, Windows users should replace the ‘command’ key with ‘ctrl’.
