A tour of Microsoft’s model shop and 3D printed prototypes [video]
Josh Topolsky and the guys over at The Verge gained exclusive access to Microsoft‘s model shop, to show us the process of how prototypes are designed in Redmond.
The user experience designer, Karsten Aagaard, explains during the tour that the team tries to get the 3D prototypes printed in “real-time”. We see in the video, a few 3D printed prototypes. From computer mice, a ranch and even a see through Windows Phone (pictured).
