And another glitch [Modern Warfare 2] (Updated)
Jan 5th
What better way to start the first post of the New Year, than with my favourite subject. Modern Warfare 2. And as I’m guessing you would have noticed from the title, this post is about another glitch. This glitch makes sure your bullets always hit anyone that’s within your cross-hair. I need not say more than I need to. Watch the video and see for yourself.
Update: It turns out this glitch can be passed on. If you play anyone who has been in a game with this glitch, it is automatically passed on to you. The same way the previous Modern Warfare 2 Glitches were. And you in turn can pass it on to others, and so on.

Yet another Modern Warfare 2 glitch? (The never ending match) (Update)
Dec 14th

I was playing Modern Warfare 2 online a few hours ago when I joined a game of Domination that lasted more than an hour. Proof is in the image above, which was taken 20 minutes after I joined the game. I’m sure the game had started at least 30 minutes before I joined. Perhaps Infinity Ward knows about this glitch and is working on patch. (I hope not because I rather like this glitch). The game only ended after I called in my Chopper Gunner and jst got my first kill with an error message showing in the lobby. F.Y.I, I was 5 kills away from a nuke.
Update: This glitch is supposedly a result of the recent Javelin glitch patch that Infinity Ward applied to the game.
Modern Warfare 2: Javelin glitch patch (11th Dec. 09)
Dec 11th

I literally just jumped on my xbox 360 to play Modern Warfare 2 and received a notification prompting me for a mandatory update. My first guess was “It must be a patch for the now infamous Javelin Glitch“. So far it seems as though my guess was right. First thing I tried was the Javelin Glitch … I’m glad to say it no longer works. Although for the last week I’ve only come across about 3 people using the glitch in a game. So Hurray to Infinity Ward for acting so quickly in providing a patch!
Modern Warfare 2 Javelin glitch (video)
Dec 5th

I’m sure by now regular online players of Modern Warfare 2 would have come accross the Javelin glitch at least once by now. (The glitch work with any launcher but i guess the Javelin is the best for this). For those who haven’t the glitch will allow anyone wielding the Javelin (Rocket launcher), which requires a locked target before detonating, to bypass the need for target lock and just detonate as soon as the wielder is killed. Killing anyone in the blast radius. In simple terms, the carrier of the Javelin becomes a walking mine.
Well, it seems as though Xbox Live moderators are watching out for those manipulating this glitch/cheat and banning them for 24 hours from live if caught and a further two weeks if caught manipulating the glitch after being reinstated.
For those of us who prefer a clean game of Modern Warfare 2 we do not have to wait long for this glitch to be patched out as Infinity Ward are currently testing out patches and will be patching things up once they workout an effective patch.
P.s The best way to kill these cheats is from long range. Although if they are within the blast radius of any of your team-mates they will still secure kills.

Xbox Live update [17th November, 2009] (updated)
Nov 17th

Xbox Live Update for 17th November
First things first. In order to gain access to this update you will need to have an Xbox Live gold membership. You should see a message when you sign on to Xbox Live sometime today prompting you for a mandatory update.
With the update you get:
- Facebook – Update your status and view photo albums. See which of your Facebook friends are on xbox live and you can even add them as friends.
- Twitter – Post and view tweets directly from your Xbox 360.
- Zune – With Zune video you can download or stream standard or high definition videos. up to 1080p. You can also have a party of up to 7 friends and view the videos together, bringing new meaning to “watching movies with friends”.
- Last.fm – Listen to thousands and thousands of free music (for U.K and U.S). Favourite stations and even create your own.
Update: So as it turns out to use these features are not mandatory. However to use Facebook you will need to download 6.45MB file which you will need to open and type in your Facebook login details and voila! Facebook on Xbox Live. Even though its seems quite slow.
Twitter on the other hand is very fast and looks very good with no needed download. But there are a few issues of it being unable to retrieve some information. I’m guessing this could be due to it not being up and running for long. Hopefully the problem get resolved.
Last.fm also requires a download of 6.54MB and you need to be logged in using your free account. Simple as that.
With Zune you need a 4.81MB download. You are then prompted for an update which takes a matter of seconds. And of course you have to pay to view these videos. I have no idea however if there are any free videos available.
